PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS!
The
PriorityStart!
Has New Features And Improvements For
2008:
Baton Labs, Intl. (BLI) made a number of product
improvements to the PriorityStart!
system
for 2008. The new units now have (1)
NEW advanced technology microprocessor with new features i.e. [Zener diode added
to stabilize amplifier circuit; additional noise filter to the switch detect
circuit; gain in the working frequency on the trigger circuit; low pass filter
added to the trigger circuit] (2)
MIL standard discrete components with higher values and temperature extremes,
able to handle all the accessories entering the fleet market (3)
improvement in gear design [gears designed and manufactured by a precision
gear manufacturing firm] (4)
modification of the integrated chip [I.C.] control of the opening/closing of the
heavy duty contact disc (5) contact disc now has twice the
“cross-sectional” size of the 6 GA positive cable (6) LED power on/off
indicator (7) improvements in the engine run feature, and (8)
improved ground wire connection.
PriorityStart!
automatically disconnects battery drains, once battery voltage gets below 11.7 volts
due to GPS systems, two-way radios, computers, lights or any
electrical accessories left on. Then any load transient of 0.2mv (milivolt)
will trigger
PriorityStart!
to reconnect automatically. There are no
buttons, key fobs or switches:
After the unit disconnects,
wait one full minute before attempting to reconnect.
To reconnect:
(a) operate headlight switch
or running lights [on marine unit] or
(b) step on the brake or
(c) try switching on any
other electrical device or *

If preferred an optional override feature has
been integrated into the microprocessor that provides a “reset” capability by
“momentarily” removing the ground wire, and reconnecting it will trigger a
reconnection.
A momentary ON
(OFF) external switch can be installed
in the drivers
cab or other convenient location as a means to reconnect in “keyless entry”
applications or as a “manual reset” feature. Any load greater than 0.2 mV
(milivolts) automatically reconnects the system.
The new Power-LED (On/Off
indicator) will turn GREEN when
PriorityStart!
is connected.
PriorityStart!
detects any battery drain when the key is
off, switches, timing devices, and other products disconnect only
specific items on the vehicle.
PriorityStart!
protects the entire vehicle and its
starting ability.
PriorityStart!
maximizes
the life of the battery, the alternator, and the
starter.
All new
PriorityStart!
units incorporate the
above changes. The improvements have resulted in an overall higher level of
reliability and confidence in the
PriorityStart!
system.
